AhvaDub is a producer and musician; exploring, recording and constructing tunes with his own creation, Jazz Bansuri - the worlds only 11 full hole chromatic bamboo flute. You can also find Ahva playing a 52-string Zither (aka Khim , aka Cimbalom, aka Yan Quin, aka Santoor), and various percussion as well as synthesisers, ipad, laptop, loop pedals and outboard FX. The sound is progressive and melodic and pace can range from chill to trance dance..
His instrumentation and production can be heard on Garrangali Band songs and on songs by Larrtjannga Larry Gurruwiwi, Heart Tribe and Funkatu.
One of Ahva's specialties is improvisation, unique melodies are often created - some become iconic enough to be repeated and some deserve to be given back to the river for others to find ;)
